Two women arrested on suspicion of affray after disturbance on train travelling from Ashford to Victoria

Two women have been arrested following a police incident on board a train from Ashford.

British Transport Police were called to Bromley South at 4.30pm yesterday following reports of a disturbance on a train.

The train travelling from Ashford to Victoria was delayed at Bromley South.

A Southeastern spokesman said: “Yesterday an incident occurred on board the 15:10 Ashford to Victoria service making the train nine minutes late leaving Bromley South station.

"British Transport Police were called to the incident and are investigating it.”

Two women were arrested on suspicion of affray.

They have been bailed until November 18.
