Reece Jefferies, of Burley Road, Sittingbourne and teen charged over thefts in Ashford

Police have charged two people with 18 offences of theft following a series of incidents involving vehicles in Paddock Wood.

The crime were reported to have happened overnight between November 3, and 4, last year in roads including Ewins Close, Bullfinch Close, Goldfinch Close and St Andrew’s Close.

Items reported stolen included sat navs, computer tablets, cameras and cash.

On Tuesday, police charged Reece Jefferies, 19, of Burley Road, Sittingbourne was charged with 18 offences of theft from a vehicle.

He has been bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 21.

A 16-year old boy from Ashford faces the same charges and will appear at the same court.

Jefferies has also been charged with a separate theft of a bicycle.
