Good Friday may have heralded a pretty dull and dreary start to the Easter weekend but there are signs that spring is in the air.

These new-born lambs and their mums were photographed by Kentish Express reader Ted Prangnell in a field in Godmersham the other day.

They are looking lively and hopefully if the forecasters are right then our part of Kent can expect to see temperatures rise, the rain fizzle out and even the odd spot of sunshine as the weekend progresses.

Happy Easter everyone!
