A driver was taken to hospital after her car went off the road early this morning.

The accident happened by the roundabout at Waterbrook Avenue, near Ashford’s Orbital Business Park, at about 1.15am.

Ashford firefighters were called and made the car safe by disconnecting the battery.

The injured woman was taken away by ambulance.
