Woman suffers racist abuse at boot fair

A woman was assaulted and racially abused as she packed away after a boot fair.

A man driving a car became aggressive and abusive when he could not get his vehicle past at Ashford Market in Sevington.

He was racially abusive and pushed the woman, aged 48, on her shoulders. She was not badly hurt.

The man, who was driving a blue Ford Focus estate, also made threats when the woman threatened to call police.

Police are appealing for information about the incident, which happened at 12.30pm on Sunday, June 22, on the site in Monument Way, Orbital Park.
