Boy, 17, and 22-year-old arrested after assault in Ashford's Newtown Green

Two young men, including a 17-year-old, have been arrested after a man was viciously attacked.

Police attended a property in Newtown Green, Ashford, at 9pm on Wednesday following reports of an assault.

Upon their arrival, a man suffering head and facial injuries was taken to hospital.

A police spokesman said: "One man, aged 22 from Luddenham Close, Ashford, and one 17-year-old boy, from Hunter Close, Willesborough, Ashford, have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are in custody. Officers are investigating."
