Folkestone Invicta's Phil Stevenson has signed a one-year contract with the club.

The 19-year-old midfielder, who lives in Hythe, joined the club last September following his release by Millwall, where the former Invicta youth player made several appearances for the Reserves in his four years at the New Den.

Boss Neil Cugley said: “It can be difficult for young players to adapt to non-league, and it’s important he has done that.

“He is a good athlete, has got ability, and if can put it all together he can be a good player.”
