Ashford Town manager Steve Lovell has called on his side to perform as a collective and cut out the individual mistakes that continue to affect their results, after the Nuts and Bolts lost 5-3 at Great Wakering Rovers in the FA Trophy on Saturday.

“We can’t legislate for individual defensive errors, but we can work on it collectively, and that’s what we are doing this week in preparation for the weekend.”

“Expectations are high at the club, but our start hasn’t been too bad. We are in a decent position and we’ve just got to try and push forward.”

Jimmy Bottle is the only absentee for this weekend as he continues his recovery from a head injury.

Ashford Town’s Kent Senior Cup tie at Thamesmead Town has been arranged for Wednesday November 19 at 7.45pm.
