Walker decides to end spell with Ashford

FORMER Ashford boss Clive Walker has decided to leave the club following Steve Lovell's appointment as manager.
Walker held talks with Ashford owner Don Crosbie on Wednesday about staying at Homelands in the role of coach, scout and youth development manager.
But Walker, who has only been at Ashford since the start of the season, decided it would be best for him to leave the club.
Lovell, who had been manager of Sittingbourne, succeeded Walker as Ashford manager on Wednesday in a surprise move.
