A woman in her early 30s reported that a man, who was known to her, had assaulted her, damaged property and stolen 11 cockerpoo puppies.

A man in his mid-30s was arrested the following day in connection with the allegation and has been bailed to return to a police station on a date in mid-January.

Detectives from the Met Police's South East Command Unit are investigating.
