Barry Goodwin’s best images from the Kent County Track and Field Championships 2023

The county’s best athletes went head-to-head at the weekend in the quest for honours at the Kent County Track and Field Championships.

KM Group photographer Barry Goodwin was at Norman Park in Bromley to capture the action from the sprints, while titles in field events were also contested in senior, under-20, under-17, under-15 age groups.

Hosts Blackheath & Bromley led the way in the senior men’s and women’s events with six wins each. The 100m went to Michael Damoah, Samuel Reardon took the 400m, Dillon Claydon won the shot put and discus, the 400m hurdles went to George Seery and James Nightingale won the high jump.

For the women, Morgan Squibb took the 800m crown, 1,500m steeplechase and 1,500m, Zoe Austridge won the 400m hurdles, Lauren Farley won the javelin and the pole vault title went to Eleanor Barrett.

There were also wins for Medway & Maidstone, Tonbridge, Bexley, Camnbridge Harriers, Ashford AC, Dartford Harriers and Harrow in the senior category.
