Kent Air Ambulance landed on the M2 London bound this morning

Four people are said to be injured following a crash involving a van and car on the M2 near Faversham this morning.

It happened around 7.45am and the air ambulance landed near the scene on the London-bound carriageway, which was closed at Brenley Corner for more than an hour, causing long tailbacks.

The casualties are three people in the car and one in the van, although their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
