Kent Police close Hackington Road in Canterbury after motorcyclist injured in rush-hour crash

A motorcyclist was injured and a road closed after a rush hour crash this morning.

Police shut Hackington Road in Canterbury following the smash at 8.15am.

Biker hurt in crash along Hackington Road

A biker suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening and was seen being put into a neck brace by paramedics.

His motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

The road, a popular route for commuters travelling to the city from Herne Bay and Whitstable, was re-opened at about 9.15am.
