Fire crews tackle blaze in Chaucer Road, Canterbury

Firefighters tackled a blaze in a derelict building for more than three hours.

Crews were called to the fire in Canterbury at 9pm last night.

No casualties have been reported and investigators are still looking into the cause of the blaze.

A total of four engines containing crews with breathing apparatus and hose reel jets, alongside a height vehicle, had the fire under control by just after midnight.

Crews used water from a local hydrant to extinguish the fire.
