Bottle attack on woman in nightclub

KENT Police are appealing for witnesses after a 24-year-old woman was struck in the face with a bottle at a Kent night spot.

The incident happened at Baa Baa’s nightclub in Station Road East in Canterbury.

Police say there was an argument between two women. A bottle, which did not break, was thrown and the 24-year-old victim, from Canterbury, received a black eye and bruising.

Any witnesses, or anyone with information about the incident, which happened at about 11.45pm on Saturday, February 17, is being urged to contact PC Ellen Cartwright on 01227 868271.

A 20-year-old Canterbury woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault and has been released on police bail.
