IMages of the stolen pieces have been released.

Thieves have stolen gold designer jewellery valued at £200,000 during a burglary in Canterbury city centre.

Details of the burglary, which happened in Northgate last Wednesday evening, have just been revealed by police who have also released images of some of the missing pieces.

They are hand crafted in 22 carat gold and particularly distinctive because they are unique.

PC Jo Heard, who is investigating the theft, said: "We have made inquiries in shops in Canterbury but it is possible the thieves could attempt to sell them outside the area."

Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 01843 231055 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
