Three taken to hospital after crash on A260 Dover Road between Canterbury and Folkestone

Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash on one of the main routes between Canterbury and Folkestone.

The A260 Dover Road at Denton was shut in both directions from Side Hills to Church Lane this afternoon, causing heavy traffic.

Police were called at 12.43pm to reports of a collision involving two vehicles.

A spokesman said: "Three people were treated by ambulance crews for their injuries and taken to a local hospital."

The road was re-opened at 3.06pm.
