"We take illegal drug use and supply extremely seriously and urge people worried about drugs in their neighbourhood to tell us so we can take action."

The team wants to hear from anyone suspecting that a cannabis factory may be operating in their area.

Signs of a cannabis factory can include the windows being permanently covered from the inside, regular visits where people only stay for short periods of time, a pungent smell, compost bags and gardening equipment close to the house with no signs of gardening or vents on the roof tiles.

Anyone with information about the cannabis factory in Lanfranc Gardens should phone police on 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference number 12-0332.

People with information about illegal drug use and supply in their communities are urged to contact Kent Police on 101 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
