Canterbury's Natalie Seymour played both matches as England’s women’s hockey team drew their two-Test series with European champions Germany in Russelheim.

England won Saturday’s opener 3-2 but were beaten 3-1 at the same venue the following day.

The mini series concluded England’s build-up to next month’s Champions Trophy in Australia where they will face the Netherlands, Germany, Argentina, China and the host nation.

England qualified for the event courtesy of Great Britain’s top-six finish at the Beijing Olympics and they are already guaranteed their place at next year’s event to be held in Nottingham.

Canterbury's Ross Gilham-Jones struck twice as England’s under-18s beat Scotland 4-0 at Forthbank, Stirling, on Saturday. England also also beat the Scots 4-2 on Sunday as part of their build-up to next month’s Euro Hockey Youth Nations Championships in Belgium.
