Traffic built up in Canterbury after a car transporter hit a railway bridge near the city centre.
The HGV - which was carrying seven cars - scraped the roof of the overpass on Wincheap roundabout at 10.45am.
A Vauxhall Astra on top of the transporter and a sign on the bridge were both damaged in the collision.
The police were called to the scene and Network Rail was informed.
Traffic was flowing freely shortly before 11.10am.
