A four car crash has been causing traffic chaos in Wingham tonight.

It happened near The Anchor Inn and the High Street has been blocked in both directions since around 5.50pm.

The accident happened between Preston Hill and Harris's Alley and has been causing major delays in the area, including on Canterbury Road.

All Stagecoach services have been disrupted.

The road reopened at 10pm and a man was taken to hospital.
