Concern grows for missing teenager

POLICE say they are becoming increasingly concerned for a 15-year-old girl who has gone missing from Canterbury.

The teenager, Leanne, who is also known as Leah, has not been seen since leaving her home in the city on Monday, May 5.

She is about 5ft 5ins tall with long, dark brown hair and two piercings in each ear. when last seen she was wearing a dark brown cardigan and black trousers with decorated silver zips.

Canterbury police missing persons' officer, PC Kate Collier said: "She has been gone for some time now and we want to hear from anyone who has information about her.

"If Leanne sees this appeal herself, we would ask her to contact her family direct or Canterbury police on 01227 762055."
