A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A2.

Police and paramedics were called out at around 2.10pm to just past the Gate Services between Canterbury and Faversham to reports of a collision.

A man was taken to hospital with a shoulder injury.

There were no other vehicles involved.

Police are still at the scene.

Stagecoach bus service is reporting delays as a result of the accident.
