Three cars crashed in Herne Bay High Street this afternoon, shunting one onto the pavement.

The smash happened near the Sam Spares garage at 2.30pm.

Police and fire crews were called to help, but have since left the scene.

There were delays in the area as drivers slowed down to avoid the accident.

No one was injured.
