Car ravaged by fire at Stour Retail Park in Canterbury

This is the dramatic moment a car burst into flames at a popular shopping destination earlier this evening.

The fire which engulfed the vehicle at around 3pm was caught on camera at the Stour Retail Park on Sturry Road in Canterbury.

Sirens sounded and smoke billowed from the wreckage as crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) tackled the fire near to the Home Bargains store.

An eyewitness posted on Facebook praising the quick reaction of staff at nearby shops when the fire broke out.
