Canterbury crash closes Sturry road and woman taken to hospital after Honda collides with parked Toyota

A crash has left a woman in hospital this evening after her car collided with a parked Toyota in Canterbury.
The crash happened in Sturry Road at 7.15pm.
The Honda Civic collided with a parked Toyota Auris and flipped on its roof, leaving the woman driving the Honda trapped in her car.
Firefighters helped to free the driver who was reported to be conscious and breathing as she was taken away by ambulance.
The accident has blocked Sturry road and drivers have been diverted down Fordwich Road until the debris is cleared.
