Emergency crews descended on a busy city centre street this afternoon after concerns for a man's welfare.

Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to Burgate in Canterbury, where part of the road was cordoned off.

They were called out shortly before 3pm to what is believed to be a medical emergency.
