Faversham killing: latest

A SECOND person has been charged following the killing of 19-year-old Adam Beaney.

He died at Faversham Recreation Ground in the early hours of Saturday, May 30.

Maxine Liddle, 42, of Lewis Close, Faversham, is accused of assisting an offender.

She has been bailed to appear before Sittingbourne magistrates on Wednesday, June 17.

Twenty-year-old Rickie Mount, of Edward Vinson Drive, Faversham, appeared at Sittingbourne magistrates’ court on Tuesday, June 2 accused of the murder of Adam Beaney.

He was remanded in custody until Monday, June 22, when he will appear at Maidstone Crown Court.

A woman of 59 from the Faversham area, who had been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice, has been bailed until Wednesday, June 17, pending further inquiries.
