A blaze that destroyed donations left in a charity bin was started deliberately, fire crews say.
The blaze ripped through the recycling container, which belongs to the British Heart Foundation, in Holman’s Meadow car park in Canterbury just before 3am on Tuesday.
One fire engine attended, and the crews put the fire out within 25 minutes.
Nobody was injured and firefighters believe it was started deliberately.
Kent Police has been approached for further comment.
