Canterbury: Three people arrested after Class A drugs seized from car in Hanover Place

Three people including a 16-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of supplying more than 30 packets of Class A drugs.

The substances were seized after a car was stopped in Hanover Place, Canterbury, shortly before 3pm on Wednesday.

A 21-year-old woman and the teenager were arrested after community police officers searched the vehicle and came across the suspected drugs.

A 19-year-old man from Folkestone was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

They have since been released from custody pending further enquiries.
