AN 18-year-old girl was killed on Sunday night after being hit by a coach in Canterbury.

The victim, who has not yet been named, was struck by the vehicle outside the Flying Horse pub in Upper Bridge Street.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened about 10pm.
