Hunt for Subaru driver who left scene of crash on A252 near Canterbury

A motorist drove off after colliding with another car in a horrific crash which left a grandmother needing hospital treatment.

The incident happened on the A252 between Chilham and Molash, near Canterbury, yesterday at about 1.10pm.

The damage to the Toyota involved in the crash

A blue Subaru is reported to have left the scene before officers arrived after it was involved in a crash with a Toyota.

Paramedics attended and a woman was taken to hospital for treatment.

Images shared on social media reveal the damage sustained to the Toyota, which was being driven by Tina Reynolds, 56.

An investigation is ongoing surrounding the incident and anyone with any information, or with dashcam footage, is asked to contact police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 26-0517.
