Canterbury's Gulbenkian to host Digibury Weekender organised by digital agency Deeson Online

The ideas and people shaping our future are set to descend on Canterbury for an inaugural festival that hopes to inform and inspire.

The Digibury Weekender is designed to blow the audience’s mind as rockstar leaders in technology and trailblazers in cultural innovation take to the stage.

The one-day tech, digital and cultural event will feature talks, demos and debates sparked by the insights of the leading thinkers from organisations like Google, Microsoft, ITN and the BBC.

Robin Ince

The event, organised by Canterbury-based digital agency Deeson Online, will be fronted by Robin Ince, comedian, writer and co-host of BBC Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage.

The KM Group, which runs this website and Canterbury's local newspaper the Kentish Gazette, is media partner for the event.

The festival is taking place at the Gulbenkian Theatre on Saturday, October 18.

The Digibury Weekender will take place in October and will see leaders from the world of technology look a the way the world is changing

There are a limited number of tickets, which cost £10.
