Kent Police appeal to find missing Jack Goddard, of Chartham, Canterbury district

Police have confirmed a missing man has been found.

Jack Goddard was last seen in Chartham at around 2pm today (Tuesday).

Police say Mr Goddard has been found

The 26-year-old is described as being around 5ft10in tall and of slim build.

He was last seen wearing a black tracksuit and carrying a blue rucksack.

Insp Clive Horne said earlier today: "We are concerned for Jack’s welfare and are appealing to anybody who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to contact us."

But at 9pm this evening, the force said he had been found safe and well.

A spokesman added: "Our officers would like to thank all those who assisted with their enquiries and shared the appeal."
