Canterbury: 700 Vans t-shirts stolen from lorry on the A2

Hundreds of designer t-shirts have been stolen from a lorry parked up in a lay-by overnight.

A total of 700 Vans label shirts were swiped between 1am and 3am on Saturday on the London-bound carriageway of the A2.

Thieves raided the lorry near Wincheap.

Police are now urging anyone who is offered to purchase the designer clothes to get in touch.

Anyone who witnessed the late-night theft is also asked to come forward by calling 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/52269/18.
