Residents near Selling Road in Old Wives Lees, near Canterbury told to close windows and doors due to field fire

Residents living near a field fire were warned to keep their doors and windows closed.

Two fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle were sent to Selling Road in Old Wives Less, near Canterbury, to tackle the blaze.

People living near to Selling Road in Old Wives Lees are advised to close windows and doors as a precaution

It broke out at around 6pm.

The fire service issued an update at 10.30pm to say firefighting operations were complete and no injuries had bee report.

The cause of the blaze is believed to have been accidental.

The advice to keep windows and doors closed has been lifted.
