St Lawrence and Highland Court's Dominic Chambers scored a century but his side lost to Tunbridge Wells by eight wickets

A century by St Lawrence and Highland Court’s Dominic Chambers proved in vain after Tunbridge Wells won their Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League Premier Division clash by eight wickets.

Chambers, pictured, dominated the St Lawrence innings, hitting an unbeaten 122 out of their 50-over total of 238-7.

The relegation-threatened Canterbury side then reduced Wells to 42-2 in reply, only for Geoff Paulsen (100 not out) and Will Stickler (84 not out) to come together in a 199-run partnership for the third wicket to carry their side to victory.
