Learn how to be an umpire

A TRAINING course for people interested in becoming cricket umpires is to be held at Blean Village Hall, near Canterbury.

The course is run by the East Kent Association of Cricket Umpires and Scorers, which covers the Canterbury, Ashford and eastern coastal areas of the county. It runs on Thursdays, 7.30pm-9.30pm, from October 2 to December 4.

The cost is £20 and anyone interested may contact Ken Amos on 01227 711345.
