Lidl in Canterbury was closed for about hour this afternoon as police and ambulance crews raced to the store.

Staff decided to temporarily close the Sturry Road supermarket after a man collapsed.

The man was later taken to hospital.

Police arrived at the scene at midday.

The store has since reopened.
