Parts of a city centre were shut off after a lorry driver tried squeezing his vehicle down a narrow one-way street.

Police were called to Northgate in Canterbury after the HGV became stuck when the driver was reportedly sent along King Street by his SatNav.

The street is clearly marked with No Entry road markings and signs.
