Delays after two vans crash in Rusham Road, Wingham

A busy road has re-opened after a crash involving two vans.

Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash in Rusham Road, Wingham, near the wildlife park, just after 3pm.

The A257 was closed in both directions, causing rush hour delays, but re-opened just before 5.30pm.

No was was seriously hurt.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 3.04pm to the A257 in Wingham to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vans.

"SECAMB (South East Coast Ambulance Service) are also in attendance. One person is believed to have suffered minor injuries."
