Man, 20s, injured in alleged street fight in St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury

Police are hunting suspects after a man suffered facial injuries in a reported city centre brawl.

The melee, which involved several people, unfolded in St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury, at around 4.15am on Saturday triggering an emergency service response.

A man in his 20s reported that he had been attacked and was treated for facial injuries - no arrests have been made.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where a man in his 20s alleged he had been assaulted," a Kent Police spokesman said.

"He was treated for a facial injury and then conveyed to a local hospital for further medical attention.

"Nobody has been arrested at this stage and enquiries into the incident are continuing."
