Police have arrested a man after a report of an assault at a house in Canterbury.

Officers were called to a disturbance at the property in George Roche Road at around 8pm last night where a man is said to had suffered minor injuries.

Several police vehicles initially attended and a 44-year-old man from Canterbury was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into custody.
