Ashford man arrested after 'suspicious activity' in Wincheap, Canterbury

A man has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

The 29-year-old was apprehended by police as he travelled along the A28 at 1.40am on Saturday morning.

This came after reports of suspicious activity in Wincheap, Canterbury.

The suspect was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning

He was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs and psychoactive substances.

His car was seized and he was also found to be driving without insurance.

The suspect, from Willesborough Road in Ashford, has since been released as police continue their investigation.
