A man was flown to hospital in London after a fall at home in Union Road, Bridge, in Canterbury this afternoon

A man has suffered serious head injuries in a fall in Canterbury this afternoon.

Police and ambulance crews - including the air ambulance - were called to Union Road, Bridge

in Canterbury at 4.36pm today.

A man had fallen down some stairs at an address there.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "He was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital with serious head injuries.

"The circumstances of the incident are not being treated as suspicious."
