Road in Shottenden near Canterbury closed after car and tractor crash

A man was left injured following a crash between a car and a tractor on the outskirts of a village.

Police were called to the scene near Canterbury in Goldups Lane, Shottenden, at 7.10am today.

The road was closed by officers for about two hours as efforts were made to recover a vehicle.

A police spokesman said: "A man reported an injury which was treated by paramedics.

"Following recovery of a vehicle, the road was reopened by around 9.10am."
