Aylesham: Police appeal for witnesses to cash machine robbery in Market Place

A man was robbed after taking money out of a cash machine.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was assaulted by two men in Market Place in Aylesham, near Canterbury, between 12.30am and 12.36am on Sunday.

Officers say he was approached from behind and that after taking his money, the men were seen heading towards Dorman Avenue North.

Detective Sergeant Neil Martin said: "The victim, a man in his 30s, had just withdrawn money from the cash machine when he was approached from behind by two men, who assaulted him.

"The men then took the money from the cash machine and left the scene, heading towards Dorman Avenue North."
