Motorists taken to hospital after two-car crash in Ford Hill, Hoath, near Canterbury

Two men were taken to hospital this morning after a car crash in Hoath, near Canterbury.

Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to Ford Hill at 6.35am following the two-car collision between a yellow Peugeot 206 and a silver Ford Ka.

Firefighters carried out emergency first aid on the motorists before working with paramedics to free them from the cars.

Police spokesman Steve Knight said the men's injuries were not life threatening.

A section of road was cordoned off for more than two hours before it was fully reopened at 8.40am.
