Workshops with an actress from the hit film Mamma Mia! are to take place in Canterbury.

Rachel McDowell, who appears in the film as Lisa, will be at Body and Mind leisure centre on Sunday, November 2.

The workshops, organised by the Stage Antics school of performing arts, which holds classes in Herne Bay and Faversham, are at 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Steve Edwin and his partner Rebecca Reaney run Stage Antics for a younger generation of performers.

“We know Rachel McDowell and she has agreed to come down to give two three-hour master classes,” said Steve.

“She will teach song and dance routines from the movie, direct a scene from the film and finish with a question and answer session.”

Booking early is advisable. For more details contact Steve or Rebecca on 07985 232768 or visit www.stageantics.co.uk
