Road open again after overturned van causes delays at Brenley Corner A2 Canterbury Road

Police have reopened a road which had been closed after a van overturned.

The force's road unit tweeted a picture of the incident which happened at Brenley Corner on the M2 coastbound at junction seven of the A2 Canterbury Road just before lunch time.

It is believed there were no injuries reported.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 11.46am following a collision involving two lorries at Brenley Corner, on the slip road leading to the A2 coastbound."

One of the lorries overturned but no injuries were reported and the road is now clear.

The tweet said: "Down to one lane very soon hope to flip it over and get it out the road."

Highways England officers were also called to help get the van back on its wheels.
